MCC Men’s Member-Member Tournament – Day 1

MCC Men’s Member-Member Tournament.  This is a two-day tournament.  Entry fee is $100.  Teams will be flighted based on 80% of their combined handicaps.  Play will begin at 9 am each day.  There will be three 9-hole matched Saturday and two 9-hole matches Sunday followed by a shootout with the flight champions and one wild card.  Format is Four-ball Match Play (each two-man team counts their net best ball versus that of the other team).  Each match has 10 available points (one point for each hole won, 1/2 point for each hole tied and the match winner receives one bonus point).  Cash payouts for top two teams in each flight and overall champion.  Entry fee includes lunch Saturday, snack Sunday and prize fund.  Daily skins optional for $10 per man.  Daily pari-mutuel wagering also available for $5 per team.  Sign up in the Pro Shop or online.  Entry deadline is July 6.  See complete rules in the Pro Shop.
